Introducing the church that drinks together

Many churches are against the consumption of alcohol, but the Gobola Church of International Ministries is all for it - so much so that they worship with alcohol in hand.

Some churches in South Africa have made headlines in the past due to their unconventional practices. Some advocate the drinking of petrol, spraying of Doom in the face, and even the consumption of snakes and grass.

While this specific church may not be as extreme as the ones mentioned above, it is still extremely unconventional. The Gobola Church of International Ministries believes in putting down the Bible and raising a glass of booze.
According to the Daily Sun, the Gobola Church of International Ministries (Gobola means 'drinking' in Tswana) is located in Freddy's Tavern in Orange Farm, Johannesburg.
Another interesting fact about this church is that the pastors do not baptise members of the congregation using water, but rather their favourite alcoholic beverage.
