Woman cheats death watching 'Final Destination' in cinema

A woman went to watch 'Final Destination', and nearly starred in one when the cinema ceiling collapsed on her.

If you’ve ever watched a 'Final Destination' movie, you know one universal truth: you don’t cheat Death.
If by some wild miracle you do, well, you better sleep with one eye open, because Death loves a petty rematch.
In a plot twist worthy of its own opening credits, filmgoers in Argentina narrowly escaped death when a section of the cinema ceiling literally collapsed during a screening of the latest movie, 'Final Destination: Bloodlines'.
You couldn’t script it better if you tried.
According to The Daily Mail, Fiamma Villaverde (29) was enjoying what she assumed would be a regular horror movie night.
However, the theatre decided to get a little too interactive.
The movie was nearing its grand finale when she was startled by what she initially thought was an epic sound effect.
“There was a really loud noise. At first, we thought it was part of the movie because we were so absorbed, but then a huge piece fell on me,” she said.
The ceiling plaster came crashing down, with a chunk striking her on the knee.

Miraculously, she survived with only minor injuries, which essentially means she’s now officially on Death’s to-do list.
If the 'Final Destination' rulebook has taught us anything, it’s that a rogue hairdryer or a sentient ceiling fan is probably lurking in her immediate future.
The wildest part? Fiamma hadn’t even planned on seeing the film.
It was her birthday, so she decided to treat herself to a horror flick with her 11-year-old daughter and a friend.
Of course, Death showed up uninvited.
The theatre was quickly evacuated, and paramedics treated her at the scene before whisking her off to the hospital as a precaution.
As any horror fan knows, though, the sequel to your survival attempt comes fast, creative, and disturbingly petty.
No word yet on whether she plans to finish the film, but for the sake of her continued existence, she might want to stick to Disney+ and have a priest on speed dial.
