Watch: 'Windows of steel' help prevent Joburg smash-and-grab
Updated | By Justin Paul James
Whatever material these car windows are made of, you're bound to want to go out and get them to protect yourself from a potential hijacking situation of your own.

A potential robbery in Morningside, Johannesburg has been foiled thanks to the 'windows of steel' on a motorist's car.
CCTV footage shows a car pulling up to a boom gate and going inside. Within seconds, three men were hot on its heels, attempting to hijack the car.
One of the men attempted to use a weapon to break the passenger side window. When he realises that he failed to smash the window, he continues to smash it harder and harder - but nothing happens.
This caused the men to run away and the car made off safely without a scratch.
The footage was uploaded to Intelligence Bureau's Facebook page and has over 10,000 views at the time of writing.
These windows are absolutely impressive!
