Re-live the freak waves that shook Durban beachgoers in 2018
Images and videos flooded the interwebs after the tide on the Durban Beachfront reached a very unexpected all-time high.
What is known as rogue waves shocked Durbanites back in January this year as a perfect Sunday afternoon took a turn for the worse.
The waves washed over the North Beach pier, flooding most of the area and even claiming a few casualties.
Here is a video that was shared on Facebook which had many East Coasters shocked beyond words.
