The Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award has recognised revolutionary artists and their music videos throughout the years, from David Bowie to Beyoncé - and now P!nk has been handed the prestigious accolade.
The 37-year-old singer took home the lifetime achievement award, which celebrates her musical career and the impact it has had on the music industry.
After receiving the award, P!nk started her speech off by talking about her daughter, who struggled with self-esteem issues when she was six.
I didn't say anything. Instead I went home and made a PowerPoint presentation for her. In that presentation were androgynous rockstars and artists that live their truth and are probably made fun of everyday of their life and carry on and wave their flag and inspire the rest of us.
After 17 years in the game, P!nk is the only artist that will make you want to party and cry at the same time!
