Watch: Majestic drone footage of Hartbeespoort Dam Wall
Who would have thought that a dam could be this beautiful?!
YouTube user Marcel van Heerden has uploaded some pretty incredible footage that he captured using a drone.
Following this past weekend's heavy rains throughout most of South Africa, Marcel flew his drone over the Hartbeespoort Dam to capture the sheer beauty of the overflowing water.
We got a comment from him regarding the footage. "When I noticed the sluices were all opened after the well-deserved rain we had, I immediately sent my drone up and took a video of them. When I decided to share it on my Facebook and Instagram, I was overwhelmed with the response I got from people all over the country. Everybody shared the video, and it has already reached the masses", he told us.

We showed the video to Darren Maule and he was blown away by it.
"This is absolutely magnificent. I have never seen footage quite like this before. I'm speechless," said Darren.
