WATCH: Durban teen sings to calm his Tourette Syndrome
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
For those who don’t know what Tourette Syndrome (TS) is, meeting Durban-born Radlyn Naidoo for the first time could be a life-changing experience.
Radlyn, a 19-year-old from Merebank, is a second year Pretoria student who isn’t afraid to share intimate details about his disorder in an effort to break the stigma around it.
Some of us have heard of TS or seen people afflicted with the disorder in public. For those who don’t know much about TS, the syndrome is a neurological disorder. A person with this condition can suffer from brief, repetitive, involuntary body movements and vocal outbursts called tics.
