Video: Is this the worst marriage proposal ever?!

The internet has raised the bar on executing the best marriage proposals; from skydiving with a huge "marry me" sign to pulling off crazy yoga moves. Unfortunately, this guy's proposal did not go as planned! 

It's a beautiful sunny day in Kansas City, Missouri and a couple is taking a casual walk in the park when they make a stop on a beautiful bridge over a small river. They share a few laughs, whispers, and a kiss, before he gets down on one knee. 

And the next words he utters aren't really the words we're expecting. In fact, he's speechless because the ring decides to slip through the crack in the bridge and take a plunge into the river!

The ring was never found but they sure do have a very memorable proposal story to share with their friends, family, and future children.
