The internet is freaking out after trying an optical illusion test that's got everyone asking questions about their own eyesight.

The pretty pastel colours soon start fading away, leaving only a white background if you stare at it for more than a minute.

Freaky, right? Here's how this is possible:
It’s called the Troxler Effect, named after a Swiss physician who noticed that when he made himself stare at a central point of an image, objects in his peripheral vision started to disappear within seconds.
