Ten photographs that remind us of humanity
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
The world might seem cruel, but good still exists.

The recent attacks on Paris remind us how fortunate we are to be alive. We live in a world de-sensitised by all the bad, that very seldom we do not appreciate the good.
The simple things in life are, sometimes, the most important.
Here are ten most overlooked photographs that capture humanity at it's finest, most sincere moments:
1. 100,000 Monks Praying

2. Ethopia's child - This little man belongs to the Erbore tribe and even with dust on his face, he looks happy.

3. Flower girl -A 17 year-old girl stands in front of army men during an anti-war protest in 1967.

4. "Don't shoot" - A protestor in Brazil stands directly in the line of fire

5. Make love, not war - An army man protecting all forms of life during the Korean war.

6. Save the children - An army woman protecting and holding hands with an Afghan girl

7. Help me - A fireman saves a little girl from a fire in Indiana.

8. Instant love - A grandmother holding her grand baby for the first time.

9. Happiness - Werfel, a 6 year old orphan from Austria after being given his first pair of new shoes by the American Red Cross in 1946

10. Love has no colour - A child from the KKK photographed looking at his/her reflection through a police officer's shield.

Before you complain about a bad day, take a minute to remember these pictures and you'll soon realise ypu don't have a bad life at all.
