A teacher on TikTok has recently gone viral for an unconventional practice in the classroom. She makes her learners pay rent for their desk and chair!
Although this may come with an initial shock, it is actually a way that she teaches financial responsibility to her students.
Shelby L is the ingenious teacher who has taught her Grade 3 class to be smart with money.
This isn’t a first for this new-age teacher; she even teachers the kids how to brush their teeth and gives them different jobs in the class.
“Mrs L is such a vibe and is the best teacher around. I wish she taught me,” shares one social media user.

These hard life lessons are crucial for everyone to learn. Parents may have different parenting styles but you can't fault this teacher on her efforts to guide the youth of today.
