Taylor Swift “devastated” after losing fan during 'Eras' show
"I’m writing these words but it is with a shattered heart"- Taylor Swift.
Over this past weekend, Taylor Swift was ready to rock South America with her famous 'Eras' tour, however, something truly devastating transpired.
Right before Taylor Swift's concert in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Friday night, a fan suddenly passed away.
According to Brazilian newspaper Fohla De Sao Paolo, the fan fainted at the stadium and later died, with the cause of death being given as cardiorespiratory arrest.

Temperatures reached up to 39 degrees Celsius on the night due to a severe heatwave.

Taylor Swift was captured by various fans drenched in sweat and also appearing as though she was struggling to breathe while on stage.
These unprecedented weather conditions sparked Taylor to direct her management team to hand out bottles of water to concert-goers, as bringing water into the venue was banned.

Taylor was set to play two more performances in the South American region. She has since taken to Instagram to postpone.

Currently, authorities are investigating the exact circumstances of the 23-year-old fan’s death.
Taylor Swift shares: “There is very little information I have other than the fact that she was so incredibly beautiful and far too young.”
