On what would have been his 77th birthday, Paris pays tribute to a legend that made waves in both the music and entertainment industry.

This is a man whose career spanned from the 1960s to the 2020s. This rock icon even won four Grammys for his final album post death.

The superstar who has a street named after them is David Bowie.

Paris is paying a lasting tribute to the late British music icon David Bowie by dedicating a street in his honour in the southeastern part of the city. Many dub this tribute as "immortalising the rockstar".

According to France24: "The new street, situated between two modern office buildings, including the headquarters of news publications Le Monde and L’Obs, opens onto avenue Pierre-Mendes-France and will connect to the future bridge linking the avenue to boulevard de l’Hopital, near Austerlitz train station and Pitie-Salpetriere Hospital."

David Bowie will forever be remembered as a maverick in the industry. As we honour his contribution to music, the East Coast Breakfast team pose a question to you.
