Star Trek actor Anton Yelchin dies in freak accident
Star Trek star dies
in tragic freak accident at his home.
The 27-year-old up-and-coming actor died in a car accident on his way to rehearsals.
The Russian-American actor was reportedly found stuck and pinned against a security gate by his own car after it rolled down his driveway at his home in San Fernando Valley.
In addition to his most recent role in Star Trek series as Chekov, Anton appeared in films such as Like Crazy, Fright Night, The Beaver, Terminator Salvation, Alpha Dog, House of D, and, most recently, the independent thriller Green Room, which was released in April.
