Every year, the country's best under 16 rugby players have a chance to strut their stuff at the SA Rugby Grant Khomo Week. It's a week of competition, passion and spotting some future stars of South African rugby.
ECR Sports Lead, Sky Tshabalala, has hit pause on bringing you the latest in sports to mentor the Sharks U16 team at SA Rugby Grant Khomo Week. Sky is super excited to be working with the finest young players in our province.

After intensive training, his team is set to face the Cheetahs. We have no doubt that the youngsters will be keen to learn from the guy who they have heard on the radio all their life! We are so proud of our very own sports legend and can't wait to bring you more updates from the field.
The prestigious provincial tournament marks the start of SA Rugby’s annual Youth Weeks programme. Twenty teams will compete across the matches staged between 17 and 21 June.
The action will commence on Monday morning, with the Pumas tackling Griquas at 09h20 on the Kolisi Field at Grey High School.
The Blue Bulls, who beat Free State 20-12 in last year’s unofficial final, will face the Western Province XV at 13h40.
The Grant Khomo Week Opening Ceremony at 15h00 will be followed by a Cape derby between hosts Eastern Province and Western Province.
