Six steps to stop regular migraines for good!

We live in stressful times causing all sorts of ailments, most commonly migraines but we have a solution to help them go away for good!

Migraines are the worst, especially when they're chronic or happen on a regular basis. It's important to live a healthy and balanced life to stop them happening.


We have six easy habits to  adopt that will help prevent and take those nasty migraines away for good!


1. Get 6-8 hours of sleep - Sleep helps you recharge your body and balance your hormones which help reduce tension in the body. Prioritize your sleep and you'll see you body relax.

2. What makes you stress? - It's important to identify the things that make you stress out. Write down a list of things that cause the highest to the lowest stress in your life. Take time to think about simple solutions for the less stressful things and a long term plan/solution to things that cause high levels of stress.

3. Be careful of high caffeine intake - be mindful of the caffeine you drink. For some, it cure's headaches and it others it causes them. For a better night's rest avoid taking caffeine 6 hours before bedtime.

4. Drink lots of water - Yes, drinking lots of water will help reduce your migraines. It's not a myth. Staying hydrated is very important, it helps your body regulate body temperature, keeps your cells fuelled.

5. Exercise - Take a walk, hit the gym or take a yoga class, whichever works for you. A regular workout will keep you in shape and reduce headaches.

6. Have a balanced diet - Eating healthy will benefit your life overall. Eat fewer foods with high unhealthy fats and salt, and snack regularly on fruits and nuts. Adopting a healthy lifestyle will reduce migraines and other health risks.
