Road Traffic Information gives more details on traffic in PMB due to smoke
ECR traffic has been reporting on the traffic caused by a blazing fire in Pietermaritzburg. To understand the cause and gather more details on which roads to use, Darren interviewed Zinhle Mali from the Road Traffic Information department.
Constant reports about the smoke that has been affecting those in the PMB CBD have caused major concern. To shed some light on the cause of the fire, Darren, Keri, and Sky spoke to Zinhle Mali, who explained that the cause of the fire is still not known.
"The smoke is coming from Heinfield area. We believe it is coming from the dump. e are not too sure of finer details regarding the smoke, however all we can see is that it is affecting the CBD as well as the freeway between Oldman road and New England road," Mali said.
