Popular vegetarian food brand responds to social media uproar

A South Africa vegetarian food brand was recently called out on social media for the price hikes of their products. East Coast Breakfast has given them a chance to respond.

Fry’s is a prominent and popular food brand, especially among vegetarians. For a significant amount of the Indian community, Fry’s is a part of their staple diet.
Naturally, when Fry’s decided to increase the prices of their products, some members of the community took to social media to voice their grievances.
A post on Facebook which made the rounds caught the attention of the large food brand, resulting in their speedy response.
