We love a great team effort from strangers and, in this instance, they did their best to try and save the situation.

The people on the ground collaborated and grabbed hold of the fencing around the base of the ride to try and steady it.

A witness shared with UpNorthLive that the ride finally came to a stop and they managed to get the harnesses locked.

Like we said, we love a great team effort - sort of like our very own team!

There were no injuries endured, fortunately!
