Brave mom shares her incredible story of giving birth to a healthy baby while struggling with her physical disabilities.
She was born with a very rare, genetic condition that would discourage most people to give up on life and never even consider having children.
Sheree Psaila who is now 22-years-old was born with arthrogryposis multiplex congenita, meaning she has no muscle tissue in her arms or legs, her parents were warned that she wouldn’t live past her first birthday.
Sheree has been fighting the odds all her life, but her pregnancy has been the biggest of them all. While studying, Sheree met Chris, who has a hereditary condition that affects his lower spine. The couple was determined to start a family of their own despite the odds!
“The doctors told me I probably wouldn’t be able to have kids, although they didn’t give me a reason why not,” reported Littlethings.com
“Sometimes he’ll cry and I can’t reach him to pick him up. I have to wait for someone to pick him up for me,” she explained to Daily Mail.
After a very stressful pregnancy and the fear she would suffer another pregnancy, little baby Hayden was born being five and half pounds and completely healthy.
