Man's slithery friend not welcome on train

This will give you serious chills! Should pets like this be allowed on public transport?
Taking public transport is quite an adventure, especially in our vibrant country, as you're bound to see something bizarre... but nothing like this!
Twitter user @adjewelry was on the Subway in Boston when she spotted a snake on one of the commuter's lap. She couldn't help but document this strange sighting.
Snake. On the train. @mbta uh...what's the policy here? #redline #MBTA 🐍 pic.twitter.com/5dvUewVYkJ

Anne Tweeted the MBTA (the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority) and they responded quickly:
Hi Anne, thanks for reporting this to us. Can you tell us the car number of the train or the line, direction, and time?
— MBTA (@MBTA) August 7, 2017
The rest of Twitter was also shocked:
Oh my god if I ever see that guy with a SNAKE I will FREAK OUT.

This passenger should be banned from the T. If I was on this train, I'd fly out the emergency exit in 5 seconds flat. I hate snakes.
