Thankfully, we have the technology to help remove those unwanted tattoos, but it can be quite costly. For one individual, he posted the agonising pain of removing his tattoo with a grater!

According to LAD Bible, he goes by the name Matias Costa on social media and is from Mendoza, Argentina. He decided he didn't like his tattoo a week after getting it done.

He said: "I had the tattoo done and a week later I wanted to join the airport police. Although among the requirements on the website it is not mentioned, I was told that I could not work there with visible tattoos.

"This happened in August 2017, I was 19 years old at the time. The other reason I did that to myself was aesthetic. I am very keen on details and I did not really like how the tattoo was left. I searched on YouTube for ways to remove it."

He first tried a pumice stone, but it did not work. He then continued to grate it, which led to him bleeding. A week later he went to hospital and had a tetanus shot.
