Man addicted to raw meat refuses to stop despite doctor’s warning

A man in America is addicted to eating raw chicken and he says it feels very good...
We’ve all been warned about the dangers of eating raw meat, but one man in America believes his body is designed for the diet.
Weston Rowe has been eating raw meat for years, and despite the risk of being infected with E.coli - a bacteria found in the lower intestine that can cause serious illness – he refuses to stop.
Weston’s story has been making headlines since as early as 2021, but a clip from TLC’s ‘My Strange Addiction: Still Addicted’ has gone viral and reignited interest in his, uhm, interesting diet.
“It’s a very good feeling, and very primal,” he said in a teaser clip shared online.
Weston’s diet consists of raw, protein-rich beef, pork, and chicken.
A visit to a gastroenterologist revealed that he had E.coli in his stool, which raised some serious concerns.
“Our bodies normally have certain strains of E.coli in it. This one is abnormal. And it’s probably secondary to the raw meat that you’ve been ingesting,” Dr Marc Scheer told him.
The doctor further warned that all it would take to “tip him over the edge and have serious complications” is just one serving of raw chicken or beef.
However, Weston feels he knows some things that mainstream doctors don’t know.
“I’ve researched some unconventional things. So yeah, I feel like I know a little bit more,” the raw meat eater said.
Before leaving the doctor he indicated that he will probably continue his raw meat diet.
In another clip shared on the Really Channel’s Facebook page, it was revealed that Weston has eaten the equivalent of eight cows and 124 sheep since he started eating raw meat.
“My fridge is like a horror movie,” he joked. His fridge is stocked with goat and sheep heads, but he says people are most shocked when they discover that he eats raw chicken.
Uncooked chicken contains a deadly bacteria known as salmonella, which has caused thousands of people to be admitted to the hospital.
“In four years, I’ve eaten about 100 raw chickens and I’ve never been sick once."
