Local comedian 'closes the chapter' with bullied Durban school girl
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
Messages of encouragement flooded in after a Durban schoolgirl posted a video of herself talking about being bullied. A local comedian has reached out to her, but he has decided to step back from helping the young girl.

His message via a live video was posted on his page, 'Here's Why I'm Mad Today', late last night. He started off by thanking all who reached out to assist, support, and donate to the young girl, however, he must 'close the chapter' in supporting her.
"Tonight I step away from everything, essentially because I made contact with her and her family. I made numerous attempts during the day to try and assist as well as speak to her mom about the things you guys want to sponsor, however, I have not received any feedback," he said.

The local comedian, known as Adrenalin, goes on to add that the messages to her family are being acknowledged, but he does not want to suffocate them because it doesn't seem like they are comfortable with everything that has happened.
"For me, the best thing to do for me is to step back and acknowledge that I've done by best for this family," he said.
He mentions that the public is welcome to help them out in whichever way they can, but he isn't allowed to publicise their details. The video of the young girl breaking down severely because of being bullied has caught the attention of thousands online.
Adrenaline continues to rally behind the cause he has started regarding the bullying campaign and is hoping to make a change in the lives of children all over KZN.
We wish them all the best!
