Lasizwe gets dragged for how he mourned his father

Majority of the comments under his post were negative and judgmental.
Reality TV star and YouTube sensation Lasizwe Dambuza has had a tough week, and social media users are not making it easier.
The 'Lasizwe: Fake it till you make it' star and his sister - TV personality, Khanyi Mbau - lost their father, Senzo Mcunu, last week.

The two siblings shared the news of their dad's passing on social media and while messages of condolences poured in, homophobes came out in numbers to attack Lasizwe about his sexuality.
In a more recent post by the Youtuber, where he is seen mourning his father by sharing pictures of himself in tears at the funeral, along with a heartbreaking message, trolls had a field day.
RIP Dad, till we meet again... tell my mom I said I’ll be okay, thank you for raising a dynamite! #RIPDad pic.twitter.com/FkT0a12R0c

Lasizwe was accused of attention seeking and directly asking the cameraman to "take pictures of himself crying" for social media.

But why would you post pictures of you grieving, crying? Social media has killed the youth 😭

So your dad will read this tweet or was this for likes and RT 🙄

However, Lasizwe addressed the trolls by reminding them that people mourn and grieve differently.
Some people tend to forget we mourn differently and life isn’t a group assignment.

If I choose to mourn on social media respect my wishes... isocial media yam le!
He also received support from many other tweeps who came to his defense.
Even if Lasizwe posted a video of himself crying at his dad’s funeral, it’s none of your business Judge Judy.

Compassion literally costs zero cents...
Let people grieve how they want.
Just be kind. And mind your business.
There is nothing wrong with Lasizwe sharing these pictures with us, he is a public figure and often shares important moments in his life with his supporters, this is no different ❤️ https://t.co/zUGx8Aa5u9
