Female domination ruled at the MTV VMA's - watch Rihanna, Beyonce, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj perform at the awards:
They might as well rename the VMAs to the "Women Run The World Awards" as female artists dominated and took over the annual music awards.
While the world was celebrating that Rihanna was the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award recipient, Beyonce's performance was the best well-kept secret - and she also took away eight awards for her new album, 'Lemonade'.
It was a night of queens dominating the stage!
