Where did the name come from?

In the Khuluma Nathi segment on East Coast Radio, presenter and top isiZulu student, Sky Tshabalala, teaches listeners isiZulu phrases that can be used every day. It’s a chance to learn and improve one’s isiZulu - and learn about another culture. Not only do fellow presenters Darren and Keri take part in learning the phrases, but listeners in KZN send in their voice notes repeating the phrase, and using it in an everyday context. The segment takes place twice a week, and is made available on the East Coast Radio podcast page. There have been over 150 segments broadcast to listeners of KZN.

How old is KHULUMA NATHI? Who trains him and where?

KHULUMA NATHI is three-year-old colt trained by Dean Kannemeyer. He is based at the stables at Summerveld Racing Centre.

We hope that he wins on his debut!

Here is a little note from Khuluma Nathi's trainer:

"He is a nice horse with lots of scope. Unfortunately, he is drawn badly with widest draw at gate 11. The experience of a race will do him the world of good, he will probably come from off the pace and we will teach him how to race correctly. I do expect him to be running on strongly at the finish. He is a horse with lots of scope and I look forward to see him race on Wednesday."

So, we got the footage from the Hollywoodbets Greyville race with Khuluma Nathi racing among other strong and talents horses.
