You know when you’re looking forward to a glass of wine, you open the bottle (or box), and it taste like vinegar?

Well, perhaps we shouldn’t have bought the R12 bottle of wine in the first place? But all is not lost….

You can make a cheap wine taste amazing by putting it in a blender for 20 seconds!

The blending softens the tannins, which is what makes it taste slightly bitter, and is a great way to aerate your grape.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

- A thirst for wine

- A bottle/box of cheap wine

- A blender and at least 30 seconds of spare time.

WHAT TO DO:

- Open the box of wine and pour it into the blender

- Blend for 20 -30 seconds

-  Pour it into a glass (or bottle to fool your friends) and enjoy!

Instead of watering down your drinks with ice cubes, FREEZE some of your drink.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Ice trays

Freezer

Left over juice/drink of choice

WHAT TO DO:

- For white wine/rosé pour your drink into the ice tray as is and for fizzy drinks, use soda that has gone flat and pour it in an ice cube tray.

- For iced tea/coffee or fruit juice just fill your ice tray with your tea/coffee/juice.

- Add it to your drink and you'll never have to deal with a watery drink again.
