One thing you should know about our East Coast Breakfast team is that they are not short of surprises. 

Imagine Darren Maule on the mic, Carmen Reddy on the bass guitar, and Sky Tshabalala on the drums - that would make one serious band!

Do you guys remember earlier in the year when Black Eyed Peas announced that they were back together minus Fergie?

Well, these three are here to stay, however, they have one problem... they don't know what to call themselves. 

Darren had some ideas he mustered up: "How about 'Cool Carmen and the Gang'? That sounds like a real name." 

The team didn't like the name so they asked people on their Facebook page for help:

So many people have commented on the picture and sent in their voice notes. 

Vasantha Chetty on Facebook said the three radio personalities should be called, 'East Coast Rockstars'

Another name that caught the interest of Darren, Carmen, and Sky was from Santosh Singh, who came up with 'The Maulers or The Breakfast Maulers or The Shabalalas or Karmin and The Dudes'
