"I always looked up to my sister" - Big Favour with Toys R Us & Babies R Us winner
The Festive Big Favour with ECR, Toys R US, and Babies R Us has started igniting the true festive spirit.
We asked you to nominate a child that needs to have their spirit lifted, and the nominations have been coming in.
Keri Miller spoke to one of the winners, Joanna Naidoo, who is a smart little girl nominated by her loving older sister, Jerusha.
Catherine Jacoby from Toys R Us and Babies R Us spoke to Joanna and Jerusha, giving the young girl a R25,000 voucher, her favourite toy, and R2,500 cash. Thanking her sister, Joanna said that she has always looked up to her and she is excited to start playing.
"From the time I was small, I always looked up to Jerusha because she always set an example and how we must learn from her mistakes. Now I learn from her how must set an example for my life and my future," Joanna says.
