If you thought nuns spent all day in quiet prayer and solemn contemplation; well, think again, my holy friend.

Meet Sister Marizele Cassiano and Sister Marisa de Paula, members of Brazil’s Copiosa Redençãocongregation.

These Brazilian ladies of the cloth went from convent to content creators in seconds when they casually broke into a beatboxing and dance session live on CatholicTV.

Mid-conversation about a religious retreat on Brazil’s Pai Eterno (that’s Eternal Father TV for us English-speaking sinners), the sisters brought up a song about answering God’s call.

That call came with a killer beat.

Sister Marizele dropped some heavenly beatboxing while Sister Marisa whipped out her best moves.

Then, in what can only be described as a blessed crossover event, the show’s presenter, Deacon Giovani Bastos, hopped in to join the groove.

The Holy Spirit was most definitely in the room.

“With Sister Marisa, if you start a beat, she will dance. I’m used to singing and beatboxing, so for us it was very simple and spontaneous,” Sister Marizele told the Associated Press.

Since the moment went viral, Sister Marizele has racked up over 100,000 Instagram followers while Sister Marisa (a true woman of mystery) continues to live off the grid.

This isn’t just about viral fame. The sisters dedicate their lives to helping young people struggling with addiction, using music as a way to heal and connect.

“Beatboxing, dancing, and the songs are tools that God uses to reach the hearts of the people we work with. And it works! It’s beautiful to see,” said Sister Marizele.

Amen to that!
