Hollywoodbets spark a meaningful ripple to get SA Para Surfing stars to USA

The Made for More team and their incredibly talented para surfers joined us earlier this year, sharing the amazing news of their trip to California, USA. 

The South African National Para Surf Team was announced last month and they have 13 athletes and six management crew selected to represent our country at the 2021 ISA World Para Surfing Championships from the 7th to the 11th of December.

What is extremely important right now? 

That they received funding to help each athlete to make it to the competition. 

They have calculated that each team member has to raise between R45,000 and R50,000 each to cover transport, accommodation, food, and competition fees. 

As you can imagine, this is not possible without generous donations from friends, family, partners, and businesses.

To assist us with their kit, Mr Price Sports jumped on board for each team member. 

PonoGirl completed the kit with a generous donation for apparel to the value of R45,000 so they can represent South Africa proudly!

Veldskoen Shoes have indicated that they would donate the team shoes and Made for More have supplied their blazers and ties.

 Lizzard factory are supplying flasks and all wetsuits are supplied at wholesale prices.

But they are only halfway with the completion of funds at this point - they have raised R572,000.

They need to double the amount in order to have every athlete's costs covered.
