#HeartStuff: Teacher's plea for classroom air conditioner is answered!
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
Ayanda - an economics teacher, left us a message on how hard it is to teach 60-80 pupils in a classroom, which is actually a shipping container with no windows - in extremely hot conditions and a good local samaritan came to their rescue.
Weather conditions have been extremely high of late all over KZN, and the heat has been particulary hard on Ayanda and her economics pupils in Ezinqoleni Secondary school.
On a caller topic about the extreme heat aross the country, Ayanda sent us a voice message complaining about how the sweltering conditions are affecting her students and the process of learning.
While this stuck a cord with the Breakfast team, little did we know that a good samaritan by the name of Kevin would change the live's of the pupils at Ezinqoleni Secondary school.
Take a listen:
Thank you Kevin, and we cannot wait to get pictures from Ayanda and her cool pupils!
