Heartbroken groom marries partner's corpse at her funeral
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
A man named Xu Shinan recently lost his partner. He married her corpse after she lost her long battle to breast cancer.

According to Indian Express Online, the man married Yang Liu’s corpse in front of his family in a funeral parlour in east China’s Dalian region.
It is believed Shinan didn't leave his partner's side seven days after her death - it's part of a tradition to pay respect to the dead as they depart.
The couple fell in love with each other whilst they were in school back in 2007. After registering their marriage in 2013, three months later, Liu was diagnosed with breast cancer during their wedding preparations.

After undergoing intense treatment, Yang recovered. Two years ago, her cancer made a comeback, to which Liu deteriorated - putting her in a coma. Sadly, she died on October 6.
Heartbroken Shinan said: "It was her dream to marry me, and my wish to see her in a wedding dress."
Now that's eternal love...
