Give Ertugral a chance

Is it time to start pressing panic buttons for Orlando Pirates?
Orlando Pirates have been dropping points lately but I think it is too early to start pointing fingers.
Coach Muhsin Ertugral made it very clear right from the onset that the team is a work in progress. Remember, he took over a team that had endured two trophyless seasons.
The team is now playing better than it did under his predecessors, Vladimir Vermezovic and Eric Tinkler.
The team is third on the log with a game in hand. Pirates' next game is against Chiefs and if they win that game and the game in hand they have a chance to top the standings.
When last have the Buccaneers been among the league title contenders? When last did they win the league? 2012.
One of the things I like about the coach is that he notices everything that happens. The fans have always cried out for the 4-4-2 formation and he once gave it to them.
Pirates were knocked out of the MTN8 by eventual champions, Bidvest Wits due to the goalkeeper's mistakes. The same goalie, Felipe Ovono had made a terrible blunder in the game against Golden Arrows. He has now dropped him.
I hope the coach smokes the peace pipe with Edwin Gymah because he is needed in that midfield. Players like Tendai Ndoro, Thabo Matlaba and Bernard Morrison are technically gifted but they must stop fighting for personal glory.
I would also love to see Thabo Qalinge being more involved.
If the coach sorts out these minor problems they will definitely win the league as per my prediction.
