In a world-first move, cow burps could be taxed in New Zealand 🐄. The proposal under consideration has been put forward in a bid to tackle climate change and will see farmers paying for agricultural emissions in some form by 2025.

The eThekwini municipality says around 50% of households in Durban are without power following an explosion at a major substation in Klaarwater on Tuesday evening.

Actress Kaley Cuoco says she is "over the moon" that she's pregnant with her first child. The 'Big Bang Theory' star has revealed that she and her actor partner Tom Pelphrey are expecting a baby girl next year. The pair confirmed they were dating back in May.

The Department of Public Service and Administration has clarified that official residences where Cabinet ministers and their deputies reside are exempt from the bouts of loadshedding effected by struggling power utility Eskom. This is because they have to be available 24 hours a day.
