Along with load shedding, Eskom is now implementing 'Load Reduction' in certain municipalities. The Msunduzi Municipality (PMB) will be one of the areas affected. Load Reduction is allegedly to penalise non-paying municipalities and will occur in addition to load shedding.

Samuel L  Jackson turned 74 yesterday. But he  started trending on Twitter for a different reason. Fans Tweeted him informing him that his account has been liking Hardcore pornography Tweets. Unsurprisingly, the likes have since disappeared, but the screenshots and screen-records on Twitter remain.

Since Argentina’s World Cup win turned Buenos Aires into a massive street party, tattoo artists have been overwhelmed inking the image of Lionel Messi on the bodies of fans paying tribute to the man who has come to rival the legend of the country’s other soccer god, Diego Maradona.

Turkish butcher, chef, food entertainer and restaurateur, Nusret Gokçe, nicknamed Salt Bae has been banned from major soccer tournaments after his World Cup antics. The antics include him rushing to the field after the game and harassing Lionel Messi for a selfie. He even held and kissed the iconic trophy as he posed with the players.

According to new research, the brains of three species of dolphin found stranded along the Scottish coast have shown the hallmarks of Alzheimer’s disease. Alzheimer’s disease is a common neurodegenerative disorder that mostly affects older humans, with symptoms such as memory loss, forgetfulness and confusion. The findings may provide answers to unexplained strandings of dolphins and whales
