Sixty years after the first US astronaut, Alan Shepard, went to space, his daughter has done the same thing. Laura Shepard Churchley, 74, brought along a small piece of her father’s capsule, as well as some mementos from his trip to the lunar surface aboard Apollo 14 in 1971. 

She was one of six people aboard a commercial spacecraft launched by Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin space company.

A warrant of arrest has been issued for #FeesMustFall activist Bonginkosi Khanyile, following his failure to appear in court on Monday. Khanyile also faces charges of contravening the Disaster Management Act. 

He claimed it was because of health reasons.
