Ed Sheeran is Simply Amazing
Don’t we all just love Ed Sheeran? The infamous redhead has outdone himself again with his kind-hearted gesture to an old friend. Can I be your friend too, Ed?
An old friend, Amy Wadge who was struggling financially needed help urgently & approached Sheeran, who recently hosted the EMAs in Milan. They had written a song together when they were 17 & Amy was hoping the song would feature on Ed’s deluxe album so she could profit from the revenues.
Little did she know that Ed had a better idea? When they finally met, they worked their magic together and came out with the hit ‘Thinking Out Loud’ where Amy was given her writer credits & has now been able to secure a steady income from the song.
Thinking Out Loud has since streamed over half a billion times on various music streaming sites, and since Amy’s success from her song with Ed Sheeran, other artists like Ben Haenow & Geri horner have sought her out for her songwriting prowess.
