However, sometimes things don't always go as planned and luckily for us, this photographer managed to capture the most hilarious shot ever!
A man who recently moved to California from Dublin invited his folks over to pay him a visit. While out at a park, they decided to grab a quick family photo.
Seems normal, right? However, their dog, Max, who even has his own Instagram account, did something to make their picture a little bit more memorable.
Thankfully, Max's grandpa's 'crown jewels' weren't hurt during the crotch bite and he didn't seem too upset by it all. Donal followed up the post with an adorable picture of them posing together.
This is probably one family portrait that's going to go down in the history books, don't you think?
