#DKSapproved: "Proof that anyone can be superhuman" - Keri Miller
Updated | By Nokuthula Ngcobo
In this part of the show, we pick some things we love and approve of them. We give it a stamp that you know you can trust.
Since starting the DKS stamp of approval feature, it has become one of the most-loved on ECR. One of the best things about it is that Darren, Keri, and Sky are very particular about their choices, so as to not be biased.
Keri's DKS approval this week is for a documentary by Wim Hof. Hof first caught the attention of scientists when he proved he was able to use meditation to stay submerged in ice for 1 hour and 53 minutes without his core body temperature changing. Since then, he’s climbed Mount Everest in his shorts, resisted altitude sickness, completed a marathon in the Namib Desert with no water, and proven under a laboratory setting that he’s able to influence his autonomic nervous system and immune system at will.
"Dutchman Wim Hof (who was in Cape Town last year) is next level. And he uses science to prove how his breathing method works. It is proof that anyone can be superhuman. It's amazing," says Keri.

Darren Maule is still hung up on the US elections. But this time, he does not give his stamp to a human or a state. Darren's #DKSapproved goes to Major the Rescue Dog, who will be living in the White House.

Sky, the sports guy, is all about football for his #DKS approved and this time, he gives his stamp to the South African women's football team, Banyana Banyana. They are currently playing in the COSAFA Cup in Port Elizabeth and their stats are amazing. They scored 17 goals in the group stages of the tournament, six goals in the semis against Malawi, and are about to win their 4th consecutive COSAFA Cup.
