Durban's tennis star Kaitlyn Leigh Ramduth shines in Egypt

Young tennis star in the making for Durban's Ramduth!

Young local tennis player Kaitlyn Leigh Ramduth took to the tennis courts of Egypt to compete at the African Junior Teams Championships this week.
The tournament is also seen as a qualifying event for the 2022 Junior World Championships and the Junior Billie Jean King Cup tournament.

Ramduth qualified for the African Junior Teams Championships when she represented South Africa in Zimbabwe back in May in the U-16 section - where she took first place.
While tennis may be a hobby for some people, the Curro Hillcrest scholar says that tennis is something she lives for every single day.
"This opportunity to me is a dream come true, another milestone in my career and another step towards reaching my dream of winning the Grand Slams, US Open and Wimbledon."

Ramduth, who will be returning home on Sunday, has excelled and hails playing in Egypt as a 'thrilling experience'.
