Breakfast team shares new eased loadshedding schedule

If you've been dreading the persistent power outages and the disruptions they bring, here's some good news to brighten your day.

Eskom, South Africa's leading power utility, has recently announced an eagerly awaited update to their loadshedding schedule.

In a move that is sure to bring relief to countless households and businesses, Eskom has revealed a plan for eased loadshedding measures this week.

According to Business Tech, Stage 2 loadshedding will be suspended until 16:00 on Monday, 5 June.

This is due to lower demand and improved available generation capacity. 

The Breakfast with Darren Maule team mentioned in their Five Things You Need To Know feature that Eskom announced that loadshedding will be suspended until 16:00 on Monday.

Loadshedding has become an unfortunate norm in South Africa, causing inconvenience and frustration among the population. 

Eskom's ongoing efforts to stabilise the grid and minimise disruptions have been met with both hope and skepticism.
