Ayanda Mabulu exhibits another controversial Zuma portrait

President Jacob Zuma is once again the talking point of a controversial art piece said to be  distasteful, rude and disrespectful.

Zuma painiting causes uproar

Elections are drawing nearer and South Africans are expressing their feelings and thoughts through protests, marches, conferences, and art. 


Ayanda Mabulu is under fire after an exhibit of his work at Constitutional Hill entitled #Zupta State.


His latest painting depicts Zuma in another eyebrow-raising adult act. 


The artwork is a criticism  of President  Zuma’s close relationship with the Guptas which has been the subject of much speculation as well as an investigation by Public Protector Thuli Madonsela.

Twitter was not at rest calling the artist disgusting, controverial and some praising him for his work.

Some came out in defence of Mabulu, however, ‚ commending his courage.
