7 reasons why you should date a Durban guy
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
We all know
that everything’s hot in Durban, from the
food, to the weather to the guys, and we'll
prove it.
Are you sick and tired of dating that Mr Fancy Pants from Cape Town or the Workaholic guy from Jozi?
Look no further ladies, the super-chilled, laid-back dude from Durban is exactly what you need!
Word on the street is that these men are good balance of cool and focused, and they also never run out of good things to say and show you of the beautiful city of Durban.
According to Cosmopolitan these 7 truths will totally prove why you should consider only dating Durban guys.
1. Any beer will do, even if it's craft beer! He grew up on only Castle and cappuccinos, and he might not want to change! He is always keen to try something new with you over brunch, however he probably won't order alone and would NOT use the word brunch.

2. Guys from Durban are totally into their cars! When you head out with him on a shopping spree expect the shopping bags to go on the back seat. Why you wonder? Due to the huge sub-woofer in his boot of course.

3. Durban guys don’t even know what the word 'stress' truly means! They’re just super laid back and chilled. It must be something to do with the beaches or the hills...

4. He will win you over by serving you delicious curries that he whipped up by himself! Food so good that only top restaurants would add to their menu. Consider yourself lucky!

5. He is a braai master! He cooks steak, chops and chicken to perfection, all those house braais are to thank.
6. He will never forget where he came from. He’ll reminisce about the hills and remind you that Durban is lush, beautiful and green. So don’t even go there, it won't work.
7. Asking him to take a romantic dip with you in a Cape Town ocean is asking way too much! Even the summer water temps in the Mother City are too cold in comparison to the warm waters of Durbs… Just accept it, he will never betray Durban beaches!
