1. Nelson Mandela Bay declared Covid-19 hotspot, restrictions implemented
President Cyril Ramaphosa has announced that the National Coronavirus Command Council has decided to declare the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipality a coronavirus hotspot. In his address to the nation on Thursday, Ramaphosa said there are three areas of the country that account for most of these new COVID-19 infections. As a result, some restrictions have been implemented.

2. P!NK and the Ndlovu Youth Choir collaborate
P!NK and our very own Ndlovu Youth Choir have teamed up on a new rendition of A Million Dreams - you will remember it as the soundtrack of The Greatest Showman. The cover was created for UNICEF and performed at their virtual Changemaker event.
3. New mystery metal monolith appears on a California mountaintop
A third strange metal monolith has appeared; this time, on top of a mountain in the small town of Atascadero, California. The unusual appearances began on November 18, when a group of sheep counters travelling in a helicopter spotted the Utah monolith on the ground below.

4. Cannabis Is Officially Recognised As A Medicine Following Historic UN Vote
After being used therapeutically for thousands of years, a historic vote at the United Nations has now finally recognised the medicinal value of cannabis and removed it from a list of dangerous drugs which are placed under the strictest controls.
