1. Chinese billionaire who called the  Chinese president a ‘clown’ has been jailed for 18 years

A Chinese tycoon who criticised President Xi Jinping's handling of the coronavirus pandemic has been jailed for 18 years on corruption charges. Ren Zhiqiang, the former chairman of Huayuan, a state-owned real estate group, was also fined 4.2m yuan.

2. Police search for driver of tipper truck who fled Wartburg horror crash

On Tuesday it was reported that a fuel tanker had collided with a taxi, killing 13 People in the horrific crash on the R33/R614. According to the police, there was a second truck and one of the drivers failed to stop at a stop sign. He then fled the scene and police are searching for him.

3. Twitter investigates racial bias in image previews

Twitter is investigating after users found its picture-cropping algorithm sometimes prefers white faces to black ones. This after some rudimentary tests conducted by users this past weekend. The evidence is said to be anecdotal at this stage.

4. Are Kim and Kanye at the brink of a divorce?

According to reports, Kim Kardashian has revealed that she is suffering from insomnia as she admits she "can't sleep" amid her marriage crisis as Kanye continues with his Twitter outbursts. She is now reportedly "planning to divorce" Kanye once his latest bipolar episode passes. Apparently the coronavirus pandemic has been part of the problem.

5. We're getting Prison Break season 6

Prison Break star Dominic Purcell has hinted in an Instagram post that Prison Break would return despite previous claims that it would not. So, season 6 is confirmed!
