5-year-old's drawings show her being abused by her priest

Parents of a five-year-old girl in Brazil were devastated when they discovered their daughter's horrifying drawings showing her being sexually abused by her priest.

The priest, 54-year-old Father Joao da Silva, admitted to the allegations when the little girl's father confronted him and threatened to call the police on the priest.

The little girl's psychologist recommended her parents to check her bedroom for any possible leads, that's when they discovered the horrifying drawing, according to local news source Grande Minas.

They show two people — one happy and one sad. In both, the small child is pictured lying down on a surface while an adult stands over her.

According to the news source, the five-year-old had been receiving English classes from the priest since July 2015. 

She complained to her parents that she did not want to return to the priest for English lessons, and after a change in her behaviour and character, they decided to take her to counseling. 

The priest confessed to the allegations and is waiting on the law to make its judgement.
