Lethokuhle is not just a romantic song for two but it also serves to address the extended relationships involved in one’s love story. The story begins by thanking the blessing of motherhood and being raised within a family with care and support, something often forgotten. The song is inspired by the beauty of holy matrimony where two people commit to an eternity together with their most loved ones as witnesses. Lethokuhle, meaning ‘the one who brings joy’ can also be the name of a lover who has affectionately coined their one. So, as the one expresses their newly affirmed undying love, they hint they’ve known each other for years yet blinded, and so these are their vows to each other. Who is your lethokuhle? Dropping 31st October 2019❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The J Sbu Summer Tour is a concept that I have designed which will see me take to different party venues in KZN to rock out and jam some of the biggest and best hits from all genres.

This past week, I had the pleasure of talking about the tour while standing in for Bongani and Mags on East Coast Drive. The tour is a unique experience that shares a piece of my background.

You'll find me playing different types of music because, over the years, I have been influenced by my upbringing. My background is very diverse as I have lived in Indian, White, and Black communities throughout my life.

While out at these party venues in KZN, I will be depicting and showcasing the love for music that spans through various cultures.

To prove to the listeners that I have a diverse cultural understanding, I told them that I could sing a Tamil song which I learnt back in school. I was blown away by the number of voice notes I received, with many showing me love, and a few 'aunties' even saying that they would 'find me a nice Tamil girl'.

It made for quite a special moment and took me back to my roots.
