Despite losing one of Hollywood's favourites, Paul Walker has survived through the Fast and Furious franchise.

Vin Diesel recently wowed fans at the Los Angeles FuelFest with his appearance and subsequent announcement. He spoke about listening to his fans and implementing three things that they have been asking for.

Diesel left people yearning for more when he started by saying that the studios asked him to work on the finale of Fast and the Furious. He laid out the three conditions: "The first is to bring the franchise back to LA. The second is to return to the car culture, to street racing. The third is to reunite Dom and Brian O’Conner. That is what you’re going to get in the finale," reports Vanity Fair.

While the news left fans screaming in delight, many have said that Walker should be left to rest in peace.

Diesel's promise to bring Walker's character, Brian O' Connor, back to the finale and reunite the brotherhood of Dom and Brian has people wondering if it will resurface old wounds of losing Walker in his tragic 2013 death.

"In the aftermath of Walker’s passing, 'Furious 7’s' cast and crew needed convincing to even complete the project. The first thing all of us were struggling with was, ‘what the hell are we doing here? What’s Fast & Furious without Paul? Fast star Tyrese Gibson told me in 2021," said Vanity Fair's Derek Lawrence.

Brian O'Connor's return has people wondering if this is a tribute or just a way of rehashing a tired storyline that ended so beautifully in 'Furious 7'.

The finale will be released in April 2027. Will you be watching it?
